Extra Team Trades

2010s England exchange Broad for Richie Benaud?

Yes. Benaud would be doing Moeen's role in the team, but better. Plus a decent captain which England desperately needed

90s SA exchange S Pollock for G Pollock?

No, but it's a coin toss. 90s S Pollock was a beast

2000s Aus exchange Gilly for Keith Miller?

Yes. I'd want Miller for his bowling as Australia never really had 4 bowlers all firing at the same time. Miller as a number 8 kinda makes up for Gilly missing and also gives the option of goin the 3 seamer, 2 spinner route when needed.

2000s Pakistan exchange Younis Khan for Kapil Dev?

Yes. Pak lacked paced bowling depth and Misbah who missed most of the 2000s can take Khans spot

2010s India exchange Jadeja for Graeme Swann?

No. Mainly cos what's the point with Ashwin around. If Ashwin wasn't a part of the equation then yes.

Maybe. Seems like a no brainer at first, but SA really didn’t have bowling stocks outside Donald and Pollock til the 00’s. Idk though, perhaps Donald could have taken on a more Murali/Hadlee role and Pollock being there would be a great help. Don’t know if he had the body to withstand those high loads at his pace though.
Very tough. Could go either way on this. I think they would, especially if say its before they really knew the impact of Gilchrist. Would be fun in that situation if say, South Africa or England were to be able to have him.
No (unless they know what’s gonna happen to all their pace bowlers in advance)
No - This discourse about Swann vs Jadeja outside of Asia…. who says Swanna would even be getting picked and getting those opportunities tbh.
