Cheers only our third home QF so a big achievement for us.
Two of our best ever batting performances if not the best back to back at home. If we were playing Hampshire next weekend I'd have given us an outside chance.
With a 6 week break from playing the format now whilst most of Hampshire side will be playing the Hundred. Will massively impact our chances.
On the flipside Dawson could well be playing white ball for England by then so might help us out on that front.

Another defeat looms, is relegation happening?
Well we need Sussex to somehow magic a draw at Yorkshire. Albeit we'd still drop to 11th regardless.
Looking like we can't afford to lose a single one of Essex,Worcestershire and Yorkshire. How many we need to win remains to be seen.
Worcestershire look ahead in their game, might not be the worst result if they won would bring Hampshire into the mix too.

I had a read of the Members Evening thread, it doesn’t make for very good reading. Nor does the current scorecard, although I have to say, the direction of travel for this current side, twinned with my exclusion from that place has allowed me to really switch off from it all if I’m honest.
Thought I’d be a lot more disappointed with the results on the field, but I’ve enjoyed the England series and I’m looking forward to the return of the football.
