Fair play to Raine and Hogg today for taking the blows and playing through the pain - getting to the close in our first innings is a big positive, not least because it’ll probably mean 3 overs are lost tomorrow for the change of innings.

But as I always say, the rain NEVER saves Durham, so the lads will have to do it themselves.

Absolute barmy scheduling that we’re playing a T20 tonight after only returning from London late on Wednesday night.

Notts’ own journey is just as tough. Taunton to Nottingham late on Wednesday, then travel up North for this tonight.

Said plenty on this topic over the years, but it makes no sense to chop between one format and the other and back again like they have done with this years Blast.

Starting to take the covers off but the outfield must be dodgy for play , there’s a canny spill of water near the run ups after the took one cover off
