I don’t know why they don’t just drop him down to number 7. It’s ridiculous how high they’ve got him in the order, because if he wants to get into the England side it won’t be at 4, 5 or 6.

What a shambolic season this has been so far. North looks like a 12 year old playing football manager at the moment.

The lower order and Clark did well to get us close to level but I'm disappointed with the lack of intent shown by the top order. Yes it was a difficult pitch but too many of them went ultra defensive and just tried to survive, instead of trying to play a few shots to put pressure into the bowlers.
