Lmfao, the man in the Cowdrey vid at 2:08, listed Cowdrey and May as the two best English Batsmen since the war, and then listed ****ing Graveny and Boycott as the runner ups, didn't even mention Barrington, insane disrespect.
I mean, not many did tbh

The Best – Joe Root.

Runner ups – Ken Barrington, Peter May.

Almost a Runner up – Sir Geoffrey Boycott

run tally, and his series in India being the best in India after Smith in a while, there's also a nostalgia bias as the current 20-26 year demographic would've grown up watching Cook break records, in 20 years he won't even be in the chat for the best. in England and Australia, he never was really.

Yeah, it's mostly the kids from India, who instead of watching test cricket, have formed a lot of opinions based off Instagram and Twitter edits.

I wouldn’t be surprised if most cricket fans think Cook is better than Hobbs, Hutton, and Hammond (mostly because they probably don’t even know who the those three are)
I mean a lot of them think he is better than Root, Abd, Kohli, Dravid, Sanga etc. despite knowing them
