CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

PPS, No worries Nibbs, look forward to seeing your rejuvenated side next term - And don't sell Duggan, you'll regret it in the long-run. Look at Adam, sold Cuss, lost that personal investment in his side, and now he's drifting away from the game altogether. At risk of revealing exactly how sad I am, I think everyone needs at least a handful of players in your side who you genuinely care about - Who's personal lives are the subjects of your lavatory download pondering time. If they simply become binary means to a virtual end, then you'll soon lose the will to lavish such a ridiculously inordinate amount of your employer's time on them.
True. Very very true.

Speaking from Hattrick, which I played long enough to go through two cycles of team-building, there's just nothing like the first time. The first crop of players you nurtured, the first (not-so-)superstars you bought. It'll be with great sadness that I retire any one of my super seven first-batch trainees.

BARNES OUT
I'm not required for this weekend am I? I accepted a challenge from Pacific Penguins before thinking about it. If I am, just give my spot to Patto or something.

That would be very embarrassing.

Funniest game so far. Will be funnier when you lose though.

Its all over. Huge win for me, extremely happy obviously.

And that's the end of the match. Alternative XI won by 140 runs.
Alternative XI 192-10
Anchormen 52-10

Okay, so how exactly did Malik and Henry not manage to make more of a game of it?

Mashed 'im by 142 runs (217/4 vs 75ao), with John's 4/17 from 6 overs (the wickets of #2 to #5) the standout. No matter who the MoTM supposedly was.

I believe that means a clash of the Lankans for top spot in the GROUP of DEATH.
