Have had the exact same experience meeting him in various settings. Absolute alpha stud, the bloke who could pick up any chick in the bar. Can't reconcile it at all with the "nerd" thing. Even the skinny, long-haired 18 year old Vettori was the high school jock with the slightly put-on "geek chic" thing happening, who played acoustic guitar and picked up all the chicks. Never a proper nerd at all.
