Cricket 2004 bowling help needed

Hey guys. I'm sure this question has been answered a million times before but I can't for the life of me work out the movement marker when bowling in Cricket 2004. I understand moving it too the side of the seam defines how much the ball moves but what happens if you just move it up and down the seam? And when you're spinning and it's sideways (the ball) does moving it to the top of the ball turn it into a right hander and down move it away? The ball doesn't seem to move much either way for me but I think understanding it would mean I could use it better.
Cheers. :)

Think I've slightly worked it out as I think moving it up and down affects the bounce of the ball, whether it skids or bounces higher... after a bit of practice I've got the hang of test match bowling anyway, Windies all out for 112! Nice...

The stupid teams are always getting themselves run out and thats a major flaw in the game and that means you dont really have to bowl that well because they are just going to run themselves out. Also on normal and hard mode in test matches it is still easy to bowl them whereas batting is near impossible in hard mode.

The main problem I find is when you get into the tail if you put the ball in the right spots you take the last four wickets for not many runs at all if any. I dismissed the last six windies batters in that 112 for about three runs.
