It is still debatable...coz not enough wickets for him in ODIs...far more better bowlers..but he is an ok pick to balance your bowling lineup...

The amount of wickets is more down to the amount of ODI's played in his generation compared to later ones. He was a very regular player for New Zealand for a long time, wasn't injured much.

Edit: It's absolutely still debateable though, as is Hadlee vs lower longevity Bond due to Bond's magnificent record against the great Australian sides of the noughties

Yes so every situation is covered that was my thinking , spinning pitch there is 4 spinners , seaming pitch there is 4 seamers , flat pitch there is batting to 10 and powerful six hitters , batting collapse there are finishers like Bevan And Dhoni who know how to bat with tail ..injury there is someone who can take over in every department..So team can play with no worry and attacking cricket.

Very different feels side but looks good on paper....but I won't be picking the same team many times with Andrew Flintoff as my third fast bowler.
