Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Name: Andy Cameron
Club of application: Port-of-Spain, Haag, Indiana
Email: andycameron60@hotmail.com
Intentions: Improve my bowling, especially in the longer form of the game, while I'd also like to bowl a bit more economically, which is definitely my bowling's weakest point. My batting could do with a bit of an improvement too, I'd like it to improve to the point where I'm a bowler who can be relied upon to score lower-order runs when needed. A final point I will be looking to improve upon is constitency, in both forms of the game.

Should I not receive a county offer...

Continue to develop my bowling in both forms of the game, as well as enhancing my ability to not get out every ball I face.

Name: Ian Markus
Clubs of Application: QLD/Mayaro (in that order)
Email: ianmarkus85@yahoo.com
Intentions: To not only develop my own top order batting but to give the side that I am playing for the best of my services as a team member both on and off the field.

Prince EWS

Global Moderator
Name: Robert Cribb
Club of application: Quick
Email: prince.ews@cricketmail.net
Intentions: Basically I just want to improve my allround game, but especially my bowling. I would like to be viewed as a better bowling option in the Development League, so I'd be looking to get through quite a few overs with Quick. I also want to work on converting my starts with the batting. I get far too many 20-30 scores for my liking, and this is an area I would like to improve on while playing for Quick.

Intentions (ie what you hope to accomplish there. eg improved bowling): I'd like to work on my batting in the longer form of the game and maybe have a go at opening or maybe even bowling.

Anyway I'm delighted to return to Queensland. Hopefully I can work on my batting and also bowl a few overs (I'm aiming to be the number 1 spinner, ahead of Haurtiz :p).

Best of luck to all the other CW'ers except Brendan, Simon, Sangrah and Dave! ;)

Well it gives us insight as to what Australian teams the players would prefer. Essentially it's as selective as County Cricket though, as simply signing up doesn't guarantee a contract.

Ronchi Heads To America

Australian-born Duckworth Ronchi has signed with Atlanta for the offseason. No relation to the Western Australia wicketkeeper, Duckworth is an exciting (if very inconsistent) strokeplayer and a very optimistic left-arm spinner. He will play alongside Cricket Web's Sudeep Popat and Bryce Cunningham this offseason.

Happy to be signed at New York, will enjoy playing along side Mr. Gray.

I may be seen ripping it up around New York, but pay no notice :-O
