Christmas in New Zealand - New Zealand/Sri Lanka Series Cancelled

James

Thanks to those managers who have signed up to the Christmas in New Zealand competition. Due to the launch of Cricket Web's new Fantasy Cricket competitions starting 1st January 2006, it has forced us to cancel the New Zealand/Sri Lanka leg of this tournament. This now means that the competition will end with the Pakistan/England 5th ODI on 21st December.

While this is very unfortunate and will be an inconvenience to many of you, we feel this is the best option in allowing us to implement the new Fantasy Cricket software in time for the upcoming VB Series involving Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Stay tuned for more exciting developments!

Damn it, I chose McCullum over Akmal for the fact that NZ would play 7 games rather than 5. Same with Astle over Butt etc. :(

Look forward to the new software though.

Same here with McCullum, although I picked both Butt & Astle as me openers. Butt was relatively low-rated & he'd looked quality in the tests.

Ah, well. It's for the greater good. :)
