If you can choose one combination for an average test team, which duo will you pick?
Side note, I like that the combo thing is becoming a trend. If you can choose one combination for an average test team, which duo will you pick?
It is a much needed change from the usual 1 vs 1 battleSide note, I like that the combo thing is becoming a trend.
Yeah I remember thinking how boring the one to one is becoming before I suggested my first combo. It's nice to try variations. It is a much needed change from the usual 1 vs 1 battle
Nope, this is not obvious.Imran and Kapil obviously.
Ok notably, not obviouslyNope, this is not obvious.
Definitely not with their batting. Hadlee has two tons, one against SL and the other against WI a gift hundred. Imran is the most capable of saving games in pressure situations and Kapil on his day can smack any attack.Botham and Hadlee are collectively more likely to turn a match with their batting or bowling.
Nah Botham is twice as likely to win a match with the bat as anyone else.Definitely not with their batting. Hadlee has two tons, one against SL and the other against WI a gift hundred. Imran is the most capable of saving games in pressure situations and Kapil on his day can smack any attack.
Bowling wise Hadlee and Botham have a higher ceiling but in reality they are soemwhat similar outswing bowlers so I would prefer a more varied attack of Imran reverse fast pacers and Kapil traditional swing seam.
Yeah outside of his final averages with bat and ball what Ian was able to accomplish really was insane.Only cricketer to score 10+ centuries and take 10+ 5-Fers in history of test cricket and he did it in just 50 Tests.
*Don cried*Nah Botham is twice as likely to win a match with the bat as anyone else.
Exaggeration though. Botham can't make up for Hadlees weakness with the bat.Nah Botham is twice as likely to win a match with the bat as anyone else.
