Yeah, Craigos, you could really have done with a "Test batsman" rather than player TBH.Malcolm Marshall
And countless superior players never did. Which goes to show that bashing rubbish attacks isn't the most important skill in batting. If that's Keith Fletcher he made a Test double century.

ITSTL. While Kallis could be considered to be above Dravid in the last 6 years for precisely that reason - astounding consistency (though Dravid's hardly been abysmal either) I'd rate Dravid the better of the pair easily due to the fact he averaged 54 between his 1996 debut and 2001, while Kallis (when you remove his first few abysmal games) averaged just 44.To be honest, the fact that Kallis hasn't made a double ton is why I rate him above Dravid - none of those insanely high scores to inflate his average.
Its amazing he can average 58 without a 200 or 300 to increase it.
Very interesting reasoning there. Seems as though you rate Kallis higher, despite not having the concentration of Rahul Dravid to make those big scores. To be honest, the fact that Kallis hasn't made a double ton is why I rate him above Dravid - none of those insanely high scores to inflate his average.

We're talking about double centuries hereI think Warne is. He got on to 99 in the 2005 Ashes but couldn't get a century![]()
Yes, I know. lol. We're talking about double centuries here![]()
Lol, awesomeGlenn Mcgrath ( The thread says best player not best batsman heck i could even say Micheal Jordan being as the thread doesn't even on insist on a cricket player)
It takes talent and application to score a 200 or 300. If you're going to argue that, you may as well remove not outs then.To be honest, the fact that Kallis hasn't made a double ton is why I rate him above Dravid - none of those insanely high scores to inflate his average.

AWTA!Shane Warne
He has a case for worst batsmen to score a double tonJason Gillespie? Oh... wait a minute...
