BCCI. Saviors or enemies of cricket?

The BCCI has only two key functions:

1) Run cricket in India
2) Earn as much money as it can from running cricket in India

They will do whatever they need to in 1) in order to achieve 2), and they will do whatever they need with their influence over the ICC to achieve 2) as well.

Sometimes this involves good things like restructuring domestic cricket, playing against Afghanistan more, and playing more Tests than ODIs. But sometimes it leads to bad stuff as well...like almost anything else they do.

Don't think they really care about the overall health or wellbeing of cricket at all tbh.
Agree with most of that. But ill add a third function. This might sound a bit far fetched. But from a outsider looking in. It looks like they are trying their hardest to keep Pakistan cricket down.

PCB dont do themselves any favors, it must be hard dealing with them.
It must be hard being them though. I'd be going nuts by now.

No matter how idiotic they are doesn't mean they should be treat like lepers by Bcci
