Battrick Cup Part Four

BARNES OUT
Code:
End of Over 25: 143-3, runrate=5.72
Viduka	3-0-20-0
Allison*	28 (29 balls)
Hiller	45 (53 balls)
Need to finish this partnership NOW.

EDIT: Awesome, need Hiller badly but Allison is gone.

Code:
25.6 W	Pryde to Allison
What a gem. That's pitched about a foot outside off and come back sharply through a massive gate taking the off stump with it.

Dwyer & Smith coordinating to get Smith through and PY knocked out IMO
I'll make it interesting by resting Whitehorne, he needs a rest anyway.

Get smashed by your team :(

You won the toss anyway.
Im rather suprised Mcfadden got out so cheaply, hes been smashing some very good opposition lately.

1 batsman and 1 bowler, can't remember who.
I'd reccomend geting a few 17 or 18 year olds and training them. Try and get a few competant 17 yr olds on the market they should be relatively cheap. And will improve your team alot quicker if you can train a group of 3-4 players upto around proficient/Strong.

40.4 nb6 Hodge to Ubaid
no ball, Look at that. A simply majestic shot.
40.3 6 Hodge to Ubaid
He picks up the length early and pulls it away to deep square leg.

Abysmal that.

End of Over 42: 217-6, runrate=5.17
Viduka 6-0-38-0
Hiller* 70 (87 balls)
Ubaid 13 (7 balls)

If i dont make 246+ this will be the stupidest cup ever, as my team would have made their most runs against Adam. I need to get some quick wickets when they come into bat, otherwise, its over.

Scores this Cup

vs Asterix XI - 10/245
vs Boggles - 10/142
vs Central Districts - 10/241

End of Over 48: 241-10, runrate=5.02
Viduka 8-0-45-3
Hiller* 87 (103 balls)

I dont think i can defend that, happy with Hillers score, but not his singles of the first ball of every over when there is worthless batsmen at the other end.

46.1 3 Hodge to Hiller
Three more on the board as he strokes it through the covers.

45.2 1 Viduka to Hiller
Clipped away to mid wicket for an easy single; Hiller could play shots like that

44.1 1 Hodge to Hiller
Hiller has picked the gap and they'll run a single.

why would they run 3?

Anyways, about 50 more than I wanted to chase, really. If Munroe and De Beer go cheaply the game is pretty much lost. Hodge got carted yet again. Has been getting carted in his last few matches. It's starting to really annoy me.
