Which are better for an average side?

Chappell/Border or Ponting/Waugh

Donald/Pollock or Lindwall/Miller

Doesn't the batting make up for Imran Wasim?

Chappell/Border - They are just better

Lindwall/Miller - Bowling about equal (might be marginally inferior) but they they add a lot more batting

McWarne - More overs of quality bowling thanks to Warne

Fair. Though I consider Warnes peak to be 93 to 97 and McGraths 95 onwards but Warne was still worldclass in the 2000s.
I consider it to be the 2000s due to what he was doing away, I know he had home issues on those flat decks but he was absolutely amazing away from home

6.32 WPM, 44 Strike rate, even lower than McGrath etc

Lindwall/Miller (easiest one)
Imran/Wasim

Last one is interesting, in terms of quality Imran/Wasim due to batting factor but im not sure Imran/Wasim will peak together in same match, McWarne more likely to do that. It's tough.

I rate both Donald and Lindwall very highly, Lindwall better as bowler by hair but lindwall was a very good no 8. Pollock was slightly better bowler than Miller (i'm not exactly sure because I feel Miller was more destructive bowler on flat pitches) but there's a humongous gap between them as batsman. It's not even close.

Donald/Pollock above Lindwall/Miller is utter woke nonsense
Or I rate Donald as a butter bowler than either and Pollock probably about equal or just below Lindwall and ahead of Miller...

Donald and Pollock bowling out the opposition for less.

Not sure if Miller is really that inferior to Pollock.

In an average side, Miller will occupy no.5/6 allowing you to pick an extra bowler. Lindwall is a great no.8 though Pollock a bit better.

They make more sense for a side.
