Battle of the Bowlíng Series Performances

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Which are better?

Marshall 83 India vs Ambrose 93 Australia

Hadlee 85 Australia vs Harbi 2001 Australia

Imran 82 India vs Johnson 2013 England

Warne 2005 England vs Donald 98 England

Holding 76 England vs Thomson 75 England

HouHsiaoHsien

International Debutant
Marginal but maybe Marshall 1983 cause he was facing a better lineup at home, on concrete pitches. The Aus pitches had something in them for the bowlers.
Harbi 2001. Against an ATG, and nearly the same number of wickets as Hadlee.
Imran 1982. Faced a better batting lineup. And my god the two inswingers to blast Gavaskar and Vishu were amazing.
Warne 2005(and overall the best series performance ever maybe)
Thommo(for the fear factor and iconic way he stood out, Holding was amazing in 76, but Thommo became a legend)

R!TTER

State Regular
Harbhajan's 2001 performance is among the best ever let alone probably the best in this list, even accounting for the umpiring errors

It was him & then SRT as our best bowlers that series IIRC. Our bowling stocks were basically non existent!

Didn't realize it was the same exact answer as mine.

The only time Joel Garner averaged above 40 in any series came in 83 vs India where he averaged 43 in a 4 match series, taking 7 wickets. And Michael Holding in his first series in 75/76 vs Australia averages 61.4 in a 5 match series.
