Battle of the Batting Orders

Ok. I asked that question because G. Smith struggled against any Australian bowling attack that was remotely close to good. And he struggled massively against McWarne. At least Sehwag did well vs. McWarne in home conditions. And, iirc, Sehwag outscored G. Smith in that World XI game, which both of them played. I know G. Smith is better than Sehwag against pace bowling, but do you choose G. Smith over Sehwag in Australia knowing that G. Smith hasn't played well against Australia? Even in Australia, I do think Sehwag's record is better than G Smith's.
Graeme Smith had one Good tour, despite not averaging too highly (the concussion one). Think I will take Smith too, but it's definitely very Close.

Neither of them are proven against top class Australian attacks in Australia. I will take the one who was more solid v pace throughout his career.

Indian lineup pretty easily imo. Probably the second or third best batting lineup overall in cricket history.

Australian one because I don't think Viv was really at his peak when playing with Richardson.

Maybe the Pakistani one slightly dunno

Australia coz Bradman
If the Indian batting lineup was so strong, what are Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid doing in this list?

For one, both had extremely long careers.

Tendulkar also had a lot of his career without those other guys and was easily India’s dominant player at the time. Dravid was one of those guys who could make a score when others couldn’t - part of the Wall nickname would come from that I believe.
