this link will get you as far as the grade cricket for Tasmanian cricket. use the grade function drop down list to the under 19 tournament which is at the bottom of the list with scorecards for each match. the stats tab also works.

you will see for youself there is plenty of merit with Woods comment that the coaches fell out of favor as he did nothing wrong in his 2 games.

im not real sure if their is any warm up games i assume there is we had 2 warm up games b4 the last world cup in 2006 in sri lanka so i assume the same thing will happen here.

A lot of the other sides are playing internationals pre the youth world cup,shame if we didn't,so basically the players have a rest for a month before the series then.

I'd say everyone in the squad would be playing First Grade cricket, so I'm not sure they're playing no cricket at all. Plus, Sydney Grade would be a tougher task than playing Namibia Under-19s as a warm-up or something.

Oh well hopefully throw in a few 2nd xl games,states should do this as prep.
Would be good if they organised state trials of state teams against the u 19 side,they did that the year cam whites' side won.

Can't remember, handy batsman aswell, he's not actually the frontline spinner in the side either.

Nathan Lyon is a right arm off spinner and a handy batsman at 7 or 8 he was the captain of ACT
