Aussies Overpower Pakistan to Get Top Spot!

Australia Overpowered Pakistan in the Home Test Series to reach the Number #1 Spot in 'League For The Ages'. With key batsmen Don Bradman out for the first two games. It looked like it would be a walk in the park for Pakistan. But All things went wrong in the first Test.
Having won the toss and chosen to bat Pakistan got Hammered by Mcgrath who took '5 for', Bowled out for 161 Pakistan came back bowling Aus out for 147, Akram with a 4-Wicket Haul. But Spofforth and McGrath ripped through the order bowling them for 94 with 38 from Javed Miandad the Highest Score in that innings. Australia cruised home scoring 109 in 45.3 overs with Hayden unbeaten on 46. McGrath was given the MOTM award with his 9-Wicket Haul.
The Second test and the Sydney in the SCG was a more highscoring game. Winning the toss for the second time Pakistan chose to bat and were bowled out for a measly 157 on a good batting pitch, McGrath, once again doing the damage with 4-33 from his 25.1 Overs. Australia then showed how it was done on the pitch, Hammering 465 against the bowling line up, with top scores from Ponsford (95), Hayden (68), Ponting (80, S.Waugh (84). Then Pakistan were bowled out for 209, Imran Khan with 66* to his name and Glen McGrath with 5-54 of 28. His second 9-Wicket Haul.

The third test was even better for Australia, With Bradman back they were back to full strength. Having won the toss Pakistan elected to bat again and this time scored 440 in a slow rate. taking 200.5 Overs, Miandad and Youngster Taufeeq hitting centuries. Australia's reply was bad too, being bowled for 246 in 90+ Overs. Bradman, returning scores 74. But all things changed for Australia as they bowled Pakistan out for 99, requiring 297 to win, it looked bad for Australia, But Bradman hammered 163* to give australia Victory.
