same energy as Frank Tyson 190kmph
Nobody claimed Tyson was recorded though. They do for Thommo in 75. You are just picking and choosing.

Btw, even a 1-2 percent increase in speed gets Holding and Imran comfortably in the 140s range which is what you expect for fast bowlers in this casual non-match situation.

What people don't realise is that people like Michael Holding, Viv Richards, Cricket started professionalising (supposedly) with Packer's World Series Cricket, so that generation that debuted in 1970s is really just hobbyists and amateurs, not professionals. That's why after a generation the Cricketers who debuted in late 1980s and early 1990s was on another level than whatever slop came before them.

lol is this about Imran? I'll be legit, he probably bowled a similar speed to Ellyse Perry in actual games.

No Thommo, Holding and Imran were the top three speedsters and would have been easily in the very fast or fast range if as you claim we add 1-2 percent based on what measured as it was not exactly out of the hand.

Your example falls apart.

They claim it's out of hand.

I think Thommo said that the reason he bowled full tosses is because the speed was measured after it pitched?

No way to know if it’s really true though. I generally agree with the speed of bowlers back then being overrated.

Tyson was recorded to be bowling at 143 kph with a 3 step run up, with 3 jackets on on a cold day.

I'm not complaining it's just that you make yourself seem silly when you get triggered into these strawmen
there is no triggering, I'm posting official speeds of these bowlers, you can't take it because they don't match your fantasy version of Cricket.

You mean official speeds you choose to care about. In a test match at Perth in 75, Thommo was reportedly record at 160.6.
