Solid test career and 3rd all time Sri Lankan run scorer and chipped in with some wickets.

I know their batting is experienced but it's a pity he is leaving a unit looking organised & worthy of being a 'top tier' test nation.

Quality player. One of the best of his generation.

BTW, Karunaratne retired from tests after their tests against Australia 2-3 months ago

Was a fan. There was a point where the fab four became fab five but pity he didn't really go on to the heights he could've achieved but he was still a very good player.

The timing is right because Pasindu Sooriyabandara with a FC average of 56 and runs for SL A has been waiting patiently for his chance which should come now
