What I appreciated about Ambrose while he played was that he never gave away the shop, hardly ever got taken apart. In a team heading down hill, you took what good there was to be taken.
And even when he wasn't taking wickets, he was beating the bat.

It was an ultra conservative approach.

At least McGrath would adjust his length or try some cutters.
