Though on a more serious note, Bedser and Larwood contrast very well, a medium pacer with natural inswinger and moving the ball away from the pitch, an express pacer with natural outswinger who nipped the ball back in, match made in heaven imo.

Willis averages 28 once you factor in no-balls. He bowled a ridiculously high number of them and they weren't counted against bowler stats at the time.

Well maybe if they were counted against him, he would have corrected it

He would need to bowl 940 no balls for that and I'm not sure I believe that but I'd generally not get into it because it opens a very bad can of worms, who is to say Dennis Lillee doesn't actually average as much as James Anderson if anyone bothered to go back and count all his no balls?
