I know that most of the wickets will be roads, but do you think that the spinners will stand a better chance at wicket-taking over the pacers?

If yes,

Which spin-bowler be the highest wicket-taker?

Looking back at the 2011 World Cup, it's interesting that the top 10 wicket takers were evenly split between spinners and seamers. Even the top 2 both had 21 (Afridi and Zaheer). However, I think the Sri Lanka pitches favoured spin more than the Indian ones in that tournament which may have evened out the numbers a bit.

I'd maybe look for top spinner to be from a team with a weaker seam attack and thus having more wicket taking opportunities. Perhaps, therefore Hasaranga might be a good bet?

The Cricket World Cup 2023 Points Table is shaping up to be an interesting battleground for the top teams in international cricket. With each team vying for a spot in the knockout stages, every match becomes crucial and the points table reflects this intensity. While India sits comfortably at the top with their dominant performances so far, other powerhouses like England, Australia, and New Zealand are not far behind.
At the moment Afghanistan sits comfortably at the top of the World Cup points table as prior to anyone playing it is done alphabetically.
