Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere as I have not been around here for a very long time. Felt compelled to write about this though as it makes no sense to me.
I live in Barbados. Ticket prices for CARICOM citizens for the first test are $7 USD per day. For non-CARICOM citizens it is $100! Same stand. Same seats. Regular seats. Nothing special.
Can a small mark up be justified? Perhaps. Can +10x? Absolutely not.
There are unhappy people who think they are being taken advantage of. Especially for a game that will have a small crowd.
Anyway, needed to get my confusion at WICB logic off my chest.
