5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

King Kane

International Vice-Captain
Still opening the batting and captaining for Surrey. His partner Sibbers is shining while he's not doing particularly well, although Surrey are top.

Hameed, Sibley and Lyth are 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Div 1 run charts. The former England openers club doing well.
I didn't rate Hameed or Sibley when they played test cricket, not as much as Rory Burns who I thought was stiff to be dropped, I liked the cut of his jib.

McCullum didn't seem to like it as much as me though.

None of them played under McCullum. Alex Lees was the opener who lost his spot to Duckett.

SkyBlue

International 12th Man
Restricted England to under 4 an over and got a wicket to close day's play. Good outcome but I still think we would be in a better position with an extra seamer. If there's no help for spin, things could get really ugly real quick.

Bethell, Brook, Smith can all keep Bazball alive and kicking tomorrow
