5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

He could've bowled within himself and still been a force here.
Thats the sad bit. Even bowling at 132 kmph, he'd been handful. Poor decision all around to rest him.

Rest him for what exactly? What are they saving him for? There's hardly any tests left for him this year. And even next year there's zero tests till August.

If the English openers hadn't done what they did... England would've been in deep trouble. That opening stand of around 100 runs saved the match.
The sun was out when the England openers were Baxballing it but it has clouded over again and batting looks a lot more difficult again.

The overheads count as much as the pitch conditions especially in England but the weather is harder to predict than the pitch, it's a lottery.

Whatever it takes!!!
I also sort of love him.
Coz he is more stupid than a dickhead. Also, gives his all every bloody second out there.

Very very stupid, mind you. And carries on as well. But when you see him run in all day in tough conditions with nothing to be gained, you kinda end up liking him, lol.

India bowled too short in the first session.

England should still get 300+ here given their depth. But India has a chance to catch up in the 3rd innings with England a bowler short. Just play out Atkinson and pick off the poor balls from the other two. But first they'd need to dismiss these two. If they get going, they'd score in no time.

Smith on his bike, a good ball from Krishna and even better catch from Rahul who made that catch look easier than it was.

That one wasn't out though, India getting a bit carried away.
