Yeah, looked friendly, but you just can't do that.Deep's face didn't suggest too much malice but it's a terrible look really.

Crawley can only play the game/has the ability he has. I wouldn't ask for more from him. Duckett is a quality batter and he leaves so many runs out there. He should be averaging high 40s, but he takes a risk/reward approach and it mostly pays off. This is the one area England can really improve - when you’ve done the hard work of the fast start going at 8 an over - you have the game literally in your hands if you go on and bat the afternoon session at a more traditional pace.
Duckett and Crawley just don’t seem to be able to wind it back in or come back down a gear when they’re on a flier - I just think a champion team and cricketer have that ability to understand when to hammer home the advantage you’ve built and start milking the ones and twos to really infuriate the opposition.
Both acknowledging his hyper aggressive shot-making, as well as having a laugh because it led to his downfall.Wtf was Deep trying to do there? Bizarre send off if it was one.
Not only fine, but against the wrong personality, would have ended quite differently.About the only way he was going to get out. Not sure about Deep's actions after though, that's got fine written all over it.
But according to some, a batsman should be expected to control their reaction to such provocation. Fair play to Duckett for doing so, but you'd hardly blame others for reacting differently. Not only fine, but against the wrong personality, would have ended quite differently.
A bit asinine.
Would dearly love Duckett to get more 50s and 100s, but with the way he plays I think you have to accept that he will often get out having made a start. He is still the most reliable opener England have had in a long time!Crawley can only play the game/has the ability he has. I wouldn't ask for more from him. Ishant was the lowest AQ bowler in the world as well.We already have the lowest IQ bowler in the world in Siraj and now we have the lowest EQ one too.
Yeah hard to say without knowing what was said but was absolutely unnecessary. If you just wanna yell at the batsman's face for a second and then go away, even that is somewhat understandable. This just looked like he had time to think about what he was doing and still did that. Stupid. Really good from Duckett to take it sportively. Like many others said, he didn't have to.I didn't think it looked friendly, I thought it looked condescending and inflammatory, desperate to get some sort of reaction. Without knowing what he said though it's hard to know for sure.
Lol of course you can, and you should. But according to some, a batsman should be expected to control their reaction to such provocation. Fair play to Duckett for doing so, but you'd hardly blame others for reacting differently.
I expect to see an 8-page spread in the Aussie tabloids about India’s shocking lack of respect for the spirit of cricketindia doing an exceptional job to piss away any good will they built up from the cricket community following OT, in the past week.
