5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

He'd definitely had professionalism problems and fitness question marks pre England. For his whole career basically.
He's got 459 FC wickets at less than 22 of which 76 were for England. He was superb for Sussex in the years preceding his England call up and barely missed a game. Maybe he became a Billy Big Bollox after the call up, but he had no real issues before then.

I doubt we'll get much play before 5pm local time. And seems like play can continue till 7:30 pm!

So expect about 30 overs late on from 5 till 7:30

That was the 4th Test, he'd been there all Tour. Surely they'd have known what state of fitness he was in from the nets? He had one bad innings, it can happen to blokes who haven't played for a while (look at Tongue this morning) and then the pitch changed and there was no need for seamers.

Whatever the issue with his personality and fitness, we've somehow managed to totally discard a bloke that averages 22 and ended up with Jamie ****ing Overton.
Which would rather suggest the issue is significantly more serious than just "one bad innings".
