Ashwin over Lyon; and at 5 it's either Azam or Mathews. Else, I mostly agree. Oh, and Karunaratne over Rohit as well...

Rohit has faced tougher bowling attacks and conditions but

Pretty rough on Ashwin - averaging under 20 with the ball this decade

Shame Jamieson has had injuries or would be in for Rabada.

Against top 8 teams, batting averages:-

Karunaratne - 39.9
Matthews - 37
Mitchell - 53

Based on this, I think we can eliminate the two Sri Lankans. As for Ashwin vs Lyon, that's a forever debate..

With Pant out after his car accident, Blundell out of form, Rizwan not always picked, Mushy Rahim playing as a batsman, and Carey having scored no runs until a few days ago, should Liton Das be keeper?

With Ashwin, the issue is most of his matches are at home during this phase. He was dropped for Jadeja in England tour and a WTC Final. So, Lyon makes it ahead of him. Jadeja comes in at the all rounder position where he is comfortably the best in this phase.
