Should the new format have teams where there are two women plus one under 18 in each team and have the games played on a Sunday is say the first 11 weeks of the season with quarter final week 9
semi final week 10
final week 11

The whole format is nothing short of shambolic, Graves will bully anyone to attempt to get this farce off the ground. His latest bully boy tactics are telling Surrey they won't have any games at the Oval. I don't know anyone that wants the competition take place.

**** that would be awesome. Mixed cricket could be really interesting to watch, with different tactics.

Probably need more than 2 women though otherwise they'd just be batting 10 and 11 and probably never bowl

Played a bit of mixed indoor cricket and it was interesting tactically.

Working out when to bowl your weaker bowlers/keeper is a big part of indoor captaincy.

Would be a cool point of interest. Would love to see a mixed ODI played at international level where at least 25 overs have to be bowled by women.

George Dobell said on cricinfo yesterday that the BCCI is unlikely to release any Indian players for this, CPL is a potential clash & other tours are scheduled during 2020 at the same time as the tournament. There's also talk of England players only appearing once or twice. My question is who is going to play ?

There would probably be a safety issue no? Goswami and Perry bowl low 120s at their quickest. Going from that to a 135-140 bowler could be dangerous.

Biggest safety issue would probably be female bowlers bowling to male batsmen tbh, yeh.

Haha YCCCfan on this thread is the biggest 'whoosh' moment I've witnessed in CW in years.

I'd definitely like to see a 2-day single inning match with 100 overs each though. Or a test match with one innings each. Wonder why no one has thought of that.

Guessing a test match with one innings each would be timeless.

I've still never really discovered how the format for test cricket evolved to be what it is (2 innings, must dismiss the opposition twice to win).

There'd have to be provisions. Can't have a female tailender, or player in general, facing a Rabada or Starc bowling 150kph, surely.

Would bouncers not be allowed in those circumstances? eg. anything over chest height a no-ball?

Yeah. And play with vigoro bats. Innovation!
