I just had this trouble uploading an avatar off my computer.

This is what it said in the posting of the avatar:

Use custom avatar
Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 262144 bytes (whichever is smaller).
From the "Properties of my image:

3.73 KB (3,820 bytes), 4.00 KB (4,096 bytes)
I'm confused because it wouldnt load, but it doent tell me how many pixels it is though.

Is it my image or a fault in the system when uploading images?

It looks like an either or, and one of these has been breached.

Since it's not the bytes, I'm surmising it might be the pixels.

So higher the KB, means higher bytes, means too high in pixels?
No Pixels is the dimensions of the image in height and width.

Simply get your picture up or right click the image and click properties and it will show the info eg see attachment.
