ICC weird matchups sim league

A T20 world cup tournament for the format's misfits.

Eligible players:

Players who debuted on or after 5 January 1971

Players who retired on or before February 17 1995.


8 slots for the usual top teams available. Bangladesh/Zim or other associate teams might play against your chosen side but are not available for selection. It would be too much work and I cbf'd.

Choose a squad of 15.

I won't choose a side because I can't promise that I won't give my team rematches until I win.

Forgot that McDermott played into 96 lol

Not a big worry as Australia have pretty good bowling depth. Had left out Rackemann, Lawson, Pascoe and Hughes, for example.

I did strongly consider both of them, especially Gomes, but I kinda wanted to go full #intent with the bat. But now I know Roger Harper is ineligible him and Williams will be replaced with Gomes and Logie.

Awesome squad. I know the devs of the game put a lot of SAfrican apartheid-era players in the game, but Shri will have to double check to make sure all of these guys are in there. Cook, Wessels, Kuiper & Jefferies are all a bit stiff to miss out though.
