    Testimonial

In case anyone is bothered, this is how the testimonial went: Notts batted first and scored 174, Franks got 50 and Archer 55. In reply, Caistor managed 151-8, one of our players scored 54 off 31 balls. Chris Read opened the bowling and Franks kept. So not such a big thrashing as we were...

    Welcome

Though i respect your opinion, i disagree. We play on the best wicket in the area, and the pitch on the whole is superb. We run four senior teams at weekends plus a Midweek side, and run four junior teams at U17,U15,U13 and U11 level. If anything, we have problems getting enough players to do...

    Welcome

Hehe, sorry mate, just joking. :) Think Lashings v. Kent will be a really good match. But i trust you are in the beer tent to partake in non-alcoholic beverages? Smith batted bloody well today.. Key did not. Strange that.. Neil, i got in the 2nd XI on Sat, and i'm only 17, and i'm...

    Welcome

None in the Pavilion, however we do have one in the new electronic scorebox!! We really are catching up, it does batsmens scores and everything. And as for Rich, i can't believe you've opted for Lashings v. Kent over Caistor v. Notts. Pah, what good players are gonna be on show at the Lashings...

    Welcome

Oh no, Neil won't be allowed anywhere near a Cricket ball for the duration of the day. He is scoring. Am on holiday, else we'd've both been doing it. These times are the only chances Neil gets of 'scoring' more than 10 in his career, so thats gotta be worth seeing.. :D :saint: :D

    Welcome

Yeah, next Sunday, at Caistor Cricket Club. Notts are fielding a strong side, it'll be Twenty20 format, only with a lot more runs i would imagine. The action starts at 2.30, bar open all day, etc etc.. Anyone who lives vaguely nearby ought to come down and support Wayne Noon's Testimonial year...

    Welcome

Contributing 1 run less than me.. Not out though. And you were going to go out without a helmet on.. I'd've paid good money to see that. It was excellent to see the throwing arm is as dreadful as it was last time i saw it.. Granted, I throw like a girl (no offence meant), but you really are...

    Welcome

Thats good, i've only just noticed this, and i'm supposed to be moderating it, specially since am joint administrator with Neil of the caistor.play-cricket website. Thanks for all behaving :D Oh well, eh.. Hi everyone again, btw, haven't posted for ages, exams an'all..

The English Season is only 2 weeks away

And i shall be captaining the Under 17s side, opening the batting for Midweek League Team, hopefully for Sunday team too, and 'helping' Neil with his Under 15s side. Anyone care to give me any tips on how to get a side that currently doesn't have 11 players to win a few matches this season (U17s)?

Who has been the Star of the world cup

Davison? Not so sure about that. His innings against the Windies was good, and he played a decent innings against someone else (can't remember who), but he wasn't really up to a great deal more apart from that. And correct me if i'm wrong, but he has been playing in Australia for a while hasn't...

    Live Scoring - Verdict

Yeah, i should think i'll be on here. After all, its not like i'm going to be able to get anywhere near the TV when i want it.. :!( I'll spread the word.

    Live Scoring - Verdict

I tried watching over 35-end of the Kenyan innings on Teletext, and there were loads of mistakes on there. For example at about over 42-ish they had Yuvraj bowling the over, then it was Srinath, then they decided it was Zaheer after about the second ball. All they have to do is update the...

So have you enjoyed the WC?

Thanks for your kind words LuckyEddie. You can add a d) to that list - you now have two Grimsby Town supporters. Thats a fair percentage of our support.. Anyway, i think its been a pretty good World Cup. Just a shame that Australia are gonna win it again, and England failed again...

So have you enjoyed the WC?

Hi everyone. :) Yeah, well hopefully Channel Four will bother to try and get some coverage for 2007. A two-hour highlights show every Friday for example would've been alright.. Though I do have Sky, so mustn't grumble... :P
