*Official* New Zealand in England 2021

Great to see Conway ton up here. Such a well covered NZ batting line up at the moment. If one big gun fails others can and do fire. Santner and Jameson at 8 and 9 bodes well for quick runs later on too.

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

I wonder whether McCullum will give them a sniff with, say, 375 odd? Still so much time to score runs if Cook can get in again.

    Test cricket under lights?

anyone remember NZ vs England at Eden Park in 2002? Was great fun but the players in the field had a bloody hard time seeing the ball against a dark sky.

Best Test XI from each nation (that you have seen)

Interesting that no one's picked Ross Taylor for the NZ team yet. Even at this early stage in his career he looks to have the ability and increasing maturity to challenge to records of Fleming and Astle. I know he's no Martin Crowe but surely there's a place for him in the middle order.

Greatest batting/bowling styles in the world.

Batting: Vettori, always enjoy it when he strides out, especially in a run chase. No idea where the ball will go but you know he'll invent a new shot each time.

    **Official** England in New Zealand

I'm going along tonight, hoping for a big crowd with the holiday tomorrow. Hopfully the it gets somewhere near that of the Chappel-Hadlee last year, the atmosphere there was amazing.

Wow, just saw cricinfo. Bond injured and gone, Oram injured, Papps sick as a dog, Fleming playing on despite being injured. Looks like normality is to resume. What is it about NZ players and their bloody injuries!? ......and why dont the aussies get them nearly as much?

Papps starting slooowww, but probably the sensible thing given the conditions. The problem is i get the feeling he's just as likely to be out playing with caution as he is having a go. Happy to eat my words mind you.

NZ really have to wrap this up quickly IMO, every run is gonna be precious on this pitch. don't see them getting the target though...

Second Round Group E - South Africa, India, New Zealand, England

It'l just be a matter of subbing him for Hopkins wont it? May mean that we get 4 overs of Martin but its the best option for our batting, which always needs strength down the order.

    Your funniest wicket...

In my mates backyard once I played a lovely leg glance and set off for the run(tips), just as my foot left the crease the ball rebounded off a tree at shortish leg and hit my wickets to run me out. Admittedly the 'wickets' were about four feet high so it wasnt sooo amazing.

    ECB announce NZ 2008 tour

Is it true that theres no NZ home series this summer? I've had a look on the FTP and theres nothing penciled in beyond our overseas series against SA then the Aussies. Its pretty disgraceful if that is the case.

    Best venue in the world

As much as Eden Eark is the worst playing ground in the world, I think the view of the game you get is pretty top notch. The fact that the playing area is so cropped means that you feel like you're almost in the field of play yourself. In terms of scenery, it has to be Queenstown.

Its because of the revamped FTP, we shouldn't end up having them over for a while after this.
