    India Doom and Gloom Thread

There was some dew. Ball didn't grip that much and there was no scoreboard pressure. Kuldeep is bloody good and decent for someone who comes at number 9. We need more ARs in future. Bowlingwise, Axar/Washi and Kuldeep are ideal at 8 and 9 with two pacers at 10 and 11.

What a shot by Miller. This 100 came in very tough conditions. Quite a knock.

Also, it's pretty cloudy out there. Ideal for some early movement.

I thought he might snap back to his pre-WC form in one of the knockouts.

Rohit's runs at the top provide a lot of cushion to us. If he got out early today, things would've been a lot different.

That was a weird game. An absolute road with short boundaries and NZ went with 3 spinners. They were all getting hammered, Pak had a higher chance of winning coz of NZ's bowling combination.

Some really good batting. He is like a super premium version of Grant Elliot.

Credit to Williamson and Mitchell for not throwing away the wicket and weathering the storm when Bumrah/Shami were bowling well. It's a 50 over game, you can always catchup. Would've looked ugly if they would've gotten out after the slow starts, but they have to give themselves a chance instead...

Batting gets easier and easier on this deck in the evening. This game his truly on.

    Assessment of the World Cup

Pak not having frontline spinners was a major issue, but they didn't need one before the WC. What made the lack of good spin-blowing options worse is the fact that Naseem Shah got injured right before the WC and Shaheen Afridi still doesn't look 100% fitness-wise. Their batting was never going...

    ***Official***Match # 45- India vs Netherlands - November 12th - Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru (D/N)

Nope. That was a very valid criticism. I am wondering why sports journalists are not all over this. Don't they have appetite for useless issues? There should be debates on why they tried a few bowlers in a dead-rubber right before the semi-final. Why should they try to create a back-up just in...

    Wasim Akram vs Curtly Ambrose

I think from bowling POV there's no debate. But if you take batting+fielding into account, I'd definitely go with Kapil.

    Wasim Akram vs Curtly Ambrose

As a bowler? Or are you taking into account batting and fielding as well.
