*Official* Fifth Test at The Oval

For a 1 match series Ramps needs to come in, batting at his home ground i'd put money on him scoring big runs. It's not like he's playing Warne, their bowling attack is ok but nothing Ramps can't handle. He's a difference man now, much more relaxed. Ramps in at 3 yeeeee baby

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

the difference between australian and english batsmen? u seem to be forgetting they have low scores in 2 first innings. india, sri lanka and south africa are the best for not getting out on flat wickets, south africa especially.

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

he would probably do a better job than bell, ravi, colly and cook.

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

Pieterson wont be fit for months. I think Joe Denly should replace Cook, i know it wont happen though. Serious shake up needs to happen with that batting line up but they wont do it. Bopara will be dropped doubt anyone else.

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

After Bopara just went first ball i think it would be stupid playing him in the final test. Denly, Joyce, Carberry, Trott, there plenty potential replacements. We need double centuries from Bell and Cook now lol.

The stats do not do him justice!

    Tendulkar

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

I agree on Bell and Shah, Bell definitely lacks the mental toughness, he gets too nervous and has apologetic body language. Thanks.

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

Joyce and Carberry would do a better job, Carberry is solid defensively. I haven't seen much of Trott and Rob Key has had a miserable season, he made 270 odd a week ago but before that he couldn't score over 10 :/

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

Well if he thinks he lacks it mentally, it is obvious he shouldn't be batting at 3 in the ashes. How do u quote like that? Sorry i'm a noob.

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

Warne actually said he doesn't think Bopara has the mental attitude for Test cricket. He said he wont make an impact and he hasn't.

The stats do not do him justice!

why does he deserve a test average of 60? he has batted on flat pitches all his life. he has the average he deserves.

    Ravi Bopara - another pretender?

Micheal Carberry I think Micheal Carberry has a solid technique for Test cricket, Graham Thorpe thinks so too. He could take Cookes place or bat at 3. Also i think Joyce is developing well, if he keeps getting big scores like the 180 odd he got this week he should get picked. i've never rated...
