    I'll base my England selections from 1987 onwards Kim Barnett - Talented county batsman who scored lots of runs but was found lacking at test level Tim Curtis - Ditto the above Ed Smith - Looked decent on debut but was sadly proved to be out of his depth Matthew Maynard - Another class country...
