    I find that imagining that every ball that is bowled is coming to you helps with catching and fielding. This helped me when i was having a bad time with catching. It also keeps you alert in longer matches.

    got taught by my Dad even thought he had never played supprisingly he was better that any coach I ever had he sort of just watched good bowlers bowl and taught me to bowl at the same lenght etc

    their isn't many good allrounders around these days i wouldn't call a wicket keeper an allrounder because they our just a very good fielder and batsmen. i'd call a class alrounder sombody who could bat bow and field very well.

    Winter Training

    when i went to district we were told that we should hold our arms out in a crusifix for about 5 mins to build certain muscles that help you in batting and bowling.... it really hurts after a while. and i think throwdowns would be good to keep your eye in for early matches next season.

    ganguly ... i haven't seen many of the top class left hand batsmen bat for long periods I love the way he guides the ball throught slips time and time again.
