World best Right & Left-Hand XI of last ten years or so

I say there be no clear indication if this is ODIs or Tests (or Twenty20s  ) What if a player bowled Right hand and batted left hand (Oram for example) Its interesting to note there is a massive struggle to have two genuine RH openers for tests. Sachin certainly isnt one and neither is...

Bond big winner at NZ awards

Yeah Papps has got to be included in the tests (maybe even the ODIs) this summer for New Zealand. He's easily the best opener in NZ atm.

Where to for NZ cricket in the next few years?

You've dug deep for this one. I only vaguely remember saying anything on it. You've forgotten Papps, someone who averaged about 91 last FC season OPENING! Won best domestic batter at this years NZ cricket awards. How for mine is a great talent, far better than Redmond who looks and plays...

    Ryder playing for Ireland!?

I don't. Ryder has made a much better start in his first class cricket career and hes got alot of cricket ahead of him. I think a little too much has been made of his attitude. Has anyone actually met him? Can anyone tell me what he has done to deserve this 'attitude' tag?

***Official** South Africa v India in Ireland

It should be a relatively tight series between India and SA, (and Ireland i guess...) Both in foreign conditions, India probably more so. Are India taking their best side?

    Ryder playing for Ireland!?

Thats a fair point, Adams out! The twenty20 WC is in South Africa isn't it?

    Best pace attack post WC2007

I like the look of SAs pace attack. The consistency of Pollock, aggression of Ntini, the pace and swing of Steyn, and the surprisingly good... bowling of Nel makes quite a devastating attack. It's a mighty shame they can't find a spinner to really complete the team.

    Ryder playing for Ireland!?

Anyones thoughts on the twenty20 WC team for NZ? My team: 1. Vincent 2. Mccullum (wk) 3. Ryder? (lets see what happens...) 4. Taylor 5. Fulton 6. Styris 7. Oram (c) i believe oram should be captaining nz now in ODIs so this could be good practice for him 8. Vettori (maybe Patel...) 9. Adams 10...

    SS is unspeakably sad

If Bondy was maybe, 24 or 25, maybe 26... he would be at the forefront of my mind... I doubt he'll last to the next world cup, which means maybe, 10 more tests for New Zealand...

    Speaking of bowling maidens over

What a random person to support. Do you know him or something?

    Ryder playing for Ireland!?

Yeah i doubt he would move to england. Its not like NZ has a racial quota system or anything, just a bad cricket team :)

    Ryder playing for Ireland!?

Good to hear guys! :) I first saw Ryder when he was 18 or 19 playing in the nz domestic North vs South ODI game. I think he made 40 or 50 something, but i was really impressed with his confidence (perhaps overconfidence) against some of the best NZ bowlers at that time. He hit a couple of...

    Ryder playing for Ireland!?

http://content-nz.cricinfo.com/ireland/content/story/293660.html I dont know much about county cricket, but does this mean Ryder is actually representing Ireland at cricket, or that he is just playing for them, like how Warne plays for hampshire? Does Ireland count as a county in the England...
