    There's no way on earth Rashid is a better bat than either Taylor or Bell, as one of those won't be the 3rd reliable one. In fact I'd rate all the 8 above him in the order as better batsmen.

    Oh I agree on that front, and think the rankings actually do a good job to reflect where teams rank. Thing is they have too many random losses to be ranked as the best for the entire period.

    Flower a clear class below for me. I'd agree that Sanga and Gilchrist are roughly on a par, neither all time great glovesman but in the tier below for me. Difference is that Gilchrist actually batted well when keeping whereas Sanga only hinted at it so proven is always going to be better than...

    Duminy a much better ODI cricketer than Morkel, especially in India and in terms of the South African lineup I'd say he's by far the best fit for that number 7 spot.
