 Well, poor joke, I admit.

Would have been great if Cook or Strauss had thrown their wicket away on one of those no-balls......

Since the second innings in Brisbane, I guess.

Being inconsistent is one thing, but three no-balls in 1 over for overstepping..., that's just beign an imbecile.

    Feeding Cook now!

As said Top Cat, I do agree somewhat. But imho you are giving the batsmen too much slack. Sehwag's and Tendulkar's wickets were not the result of consistent proper bowling plans. Not sure Laxman's hook shot was really the result of too much pressure. I guess your point is the most obvious for...

Just hoping for a tight contest. I know it won't happen...........

Could be good for the series if India can have a bowl in overcast conditions.

    Umpiring Errors

As said before by many others. To cut out the howlers, we hardly need snicko, hotspot or hawkeye. Just a common TV-replay will do most of the time! Anyway, I'm all for UDRS and even wouldn't mind sending ANY decision upstairs.

Which makes me wonder why Sidebottom is not considered by the selectors. Not too long ago he was England's mister-get-it-right. Also, Chris Woakes might get into that list sooner or later. If Bopara (and/or Morgan) don't get too many runs, and Broad/Bresnan/Swann will, going in with 4 seamers...

    *Official* Third Test at Edgbaston

Well, there haven't been too many Tests drawn at Edgbaston. I think the pitch is just what a Test pitch should be. Something in it for all.

I really think anything under 300 is big advantage England, anything under 350 small advantage England, anything between 350-400 is even and anything above 400 would have put India on top. I guess England will put up 400+ now, taking the game away from India. Innings defeat more likely than a...

Hmmm, 270 is not realistic in the first place and not enough either. India are in a deep hole!

Well, we might never find out... I am looking forward to Sehwag vs top-form, swinging the new ball, in English conditions, English bowlers. Sehwag can be a tremendous asset, but I really don't know he can be (even if match fit) in England with the current England attack. Pity, that is.

Is Hastings any potential Test material? Seems to have a decent FC average.

    The "W" word

It's not just Broad! England, imho, have better players in most positions. Englanf weakest bowler is probably better than India's strongest. And though India have some top batsmen, I think England's top 7 is margianlly better than India's.

Sixth? After SA (draw), twice vs Bangladesh, then Pakistan, Aus and now India. What did I miss here?
