    well, if strauss, flintoff, bell, harmison etc. fail so miserably to be pounded in this series, then they are massively overrated. if however they are quality players, they should do reasonably well.

    i think - strauss cook bell prior pietersen flintoff g.jones blackwell hoggard s.jones harmison maybe monty panesar in place of a batsman or fast bowler. still a strong team if they play to their standard

    it was great watching munaf bowl. hes got the action for reverse swing, and genuine pace. and he kinduv reminds me of mohammad asif. otoh england were so tame, even their bowling was blunt.

    i too kinda get the feeling its like how srinath puts it. i dont really like ganguly, but hes terrific to watch. and really he should be in the team over suresh raina or kaif, hes still good despite the poor form. i think hes making things worse for himself acting stupid, with so much bickering...

    well when hoggard walked in as night watchman it got his tail up a bit and he bowled one at 142 kph. that was the fastest for the match, the english bowlers were around 130, so nobody really bowled quick.

    coverage is typically doordarshan. munaf was the quickest on show....bowled the fastest ball of the match. got strauss early.

    hes rated to be around 90 mph. though i remember watching him in a ranji final game on tv.....didnt look extremely quick. though admittedly it was almost stumps that time.
