I was kid wrangling during the collapse. I see Doherty got Sanga, Mahela and Silva - was it as good as that sounds? :-O Kid could book himself a WC berth during this series. Hell, he could get a test cap if he takes wickets every match.

    Tendulkar vs The Ashes

We do that too. Let us know how it works out for you as I doubt you'll see many English or Aussies hanging around that thread :p

*Official* First Test at the Gabba

Don't get the logic of dropping Hauritz for a fourth quick when as you've acknowledged here, there isn't really anyone who's demanding selection. George and Hazelwood are unproven rookies. Harris is injured/coming back from injury, and given the difference between him fully fit and only...

    Ntini pulls the plug

Very very good bowler for a long long time, and of course one of those players who has a significance beyond just what he did on the field. Possibly underrated somewhat when you look at what he's done.

    ***Official*** Tendulkar vs Ponting Thread

McGrath - while no doubt prepared to viciously contest the description of his bowling as medium pace - had some good wins against Sachin as well.

Your face/verbal reaction when it's announced that both Hussey and North will be

Will be so awesome, on a few levels now, if they both ton up at the Gabba.

Plus they have a man crush on the lad. And in fairness, he's done alright when they've given him a go in ODIs. But FoS's point is well made.

    Pre-War Cricket Draft Voting Thread

It just sort of fell out that each time it was my turn to pick someone, the best remaining bowler (IMO) was an allrounder - Armstrong was really the only one where I bypassed superior bowlers in favour of an allrounder.

*Official* First Test at the Gabba

Clarke at 3 is daft. He's a number 5, and a bloody good one. Ferguson scoring runs at the right time, might snag himself a debut if North stuffs up in his remaining FC opportunities before the first test. Not the best option, but there you go. EDIT: And after I type that, I catch upon...

    Pre-War Cricket Draft Voting Thread

Somerset, Michaelf7s, and Zaremba the best three IMO
