Final - England v New Zealand

I'm not sure about that. Does this mean you can't get run out? Or will the umpires call it dead ball a bit later? Anyway, I'm pretty sure I've seen 4 (boundary) leg byes given in that situation. Wrong or not.

Final - England v New Zealand

Colin had the best economy rate (given a minimum of 35 overs bowled) of the whole WC! So, no! He is underrated, imnsho.

Final - England v New Zealand

Ha! That's really wonderful. All time hero!

Final - England v New Zealand

It's like getting for leg byes when not playing a shot, but the ball runs away to the boundary. I'm not even sure the laws say it's 4 leg byes, but I've seen it happen (even yesterday?). As for the overthrows. Sure enough that's 95% luck, coincidence, fate, or whatever you name it. Then again...

    2nd Semi Final - Australia v England

No Jofra, and Wood was in & out. Quite the difference!

    2nd Semi Final - Australia v England

Hmmmmm..... Finch >> Rahul, not? Certainly this WC.

    2nd Semi Final - Australia v England

The review is (at least partly) on Warner, not? If Finch really thought he nicked it, why would he have a chat with Warner?

    2nd Semi Final - Australia v England

Anyone else thinking Finch, Warner & Smith will be out for one run?

    2nd Semi Final - Australia v England

Forecast for today is bleak. I checked BBC, Accu & MetOffice. Though they can't agree on any chance percentage, except for no snow today, they all say it is partly cloudy now, will be more cloudy from noon onwards, and a more than decent chance of rain from 6/7 pm. A lot of commentary is about...

1st Semi Final - India v New Zealand

Some day, India will regret not having a 6th bowling option. One injury, or just one shocker of a day, away from disaster?

1st Semi Final - India v New Zealand

27 the lowest PP this WC? What did India get vs England?

1st Semi Final - India v New Zealand

NZ nearly doubled their amount of runs in the 8th over.....

1st Semi Final - India v New Zealand

If it's gloomy, with a decent chance of the sun coming out later in the day, you have to bowl first, me thinks. In all other situations, you bat first. It's gloomy out there in Manchester, not?

1st Semi Final - India v New Zealand

Apart form looking good, there is also the issue of scoring some runs, whilst there are only 2 fielders in the deep. I realise this WC hasn't produced the wild power play sessions we perhaps expected, but this is the other extreme of it. It's good bowling though!

1st Semi Final - India v New Zealand

Both Guptill & Munro had a good start with that 10 wicket win over Sri Lanka. And both have had an absolute shocker of a WC from there.

1st Semi Final - India v New Zealand

No Shami, no Kuldeep, no Jadhav. Not sure what to make of that. I like the idea of Jadeja. Bit surprised he didn't play from the start.
