*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

This just through from NZ Cricket --- Mike Hesson on the show today... BLACKCAPS Test and ODI squads for England tour named The return of Cricket World Cup star Martin Guptill and the call-up of fast-bowler Matt Henry are the features of the BLACKCAPS Test squad to play England in a two match...

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

I would love to have Munro in the mix for number 6 with Anderson and Neesh, but his bowling seems to have stopped? Injuries? IMO his cheeky little 120km seamers would probably be more effective than Neesh and Ando's bowling, which is more bounce and seam reliant. No way in the world is he an...

***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2014/15

Nice to see some of the talent which emerged a couple seasons ago finally finding their feet this season, it's been desperately needed! Nicholls, Young and Macewell in particular. Although at the same time, guys like Raval, Cachopa, Pollard, Rutherford and Mitchell have fell over a little bit.

Brownlie Latham KW RT BM Anderson Watling Craig Henry Southee Boult Guptill Wagner Neesham Ronchi/Bracewell Brownlie deserves to open, having shown form actually scoring runs there, and generally being a level above the rest in Plunket Shield. Guppy gets a spot on the bench for his fielding...

    37th Match - New Zealand v Bangladesh (13th March)

GRRRRRRR BOWL FIRST!!! Seriously, surely the best thing for this team would be to bat first, try rack up a good score and defend it. Now we will be seriously under prepared if we are asked to bat first in the knockouts. I hope Bangas can post 250's.

What's the point of having a Domestic Cricket team in New Zealand, if they don't want to even attempt to develop Black Caps? I know nothing about Joon (might have scored 100 in every club game), but there is just no future planning at all from Wellington cricket, it's like they CBF growing...

I just looked up the new Wellington opener... Deepak Joon | India Cricket | Cricket Players and Officials | ESPN Cricinfo WTF. Again, over developing local young talent, they are playing a 32yo ex Indian Domestic player from 10 years ago. Something needs to change in Welly, and I'm looking...

    20th Match - New Zealand v Australia

Everyone brings up strengths of each teams, Seam bowling and aggressive batting. One area that's no contest is spin bowling. Surely Aussies 5th/6th bowler is a massive weakness, and will have a massive target all over it for the BC's. Marsh although a good bowler, won't have the Kiwis shaking...

    20th Match - New Zealand v Australia

"We've got Mitchell [Starc] and Josh [Hazlewood] who have been swinging the ball consistently and they're 10kph faster. So our blokes are well prepared for that sort of stuff, and our blokes move their feet pretty well." Quote from McDermott in relation to Southee and Boult in an article which...

    20th Match - New Zealand v Australia

Hazlewood gets talked up so much as a 150km bowler by the Aussies. From what I have seen he's no where near that.

    20th Match - New Zealand v Australia

Hmm the Boxing day test schedule is a weird one, 1/4 of Melbourne population is probably from NZ!! Aus vs WI in Aus as a test series sounds like a major snooze fest. To be fair, we have been weak for a very long time (10 years, could probably argue more, or we always have been excluding the...

That hurts bro.. Na seriously, read my last post. You don't need to move away from Welly to study Quantity Surveying. Sounds like a excuse for him to get out of the place to me.

That article is a little off though, pretty sure Lincoln doesn't offer Quantity Surveying.. Or land Surveying. You can do QSing at any decent Polytech, and Land Surveying is normally done in Dunners.

Another young player loses faith with Firebirds | Stuff.co.nz Not surprising. Wellington keep shooting their own foot with juniors it seems. I hope Patel, Franko, Papps Mckay, Gillespie, Arnel and maybe even Woodcock move on next season. I bet you Siddons would be on the phone to other seasoned...

    6th Match - New Zealand v Scotland

Guptill to Tonne up is my pick. Or Willimson, or B Mac (they're all in my fantasy side of course), but I reckon Gupy will be the one.

One of the Easts sides. It might be 2A, I'm not 100%. I use to play some 2B for the Vic Uni Stallions a couple years ago.
