Ugliest and best looking international stadium

Just a fun thread, not to be taken too seriously, thoughts on the ugliest and best looking international stadium and best first class ground not to hold a test match, 1 Always thought the Kennington Oval was pretty ugly looking followed by Port Elizabeth. cant spell the new name, 2 Newlands...

    South Africa team selection

Slightly off track, but can anyone say what happened to Heinrich LeRoux, a very good fast bowler and hard hitting batter, he was excellent in the under 19s and his first class record was pretty good too, always thought he could have made it as an international player,

Is James Anderson an ATG test bowler?

I just gave an opinion of where he may possibly sit in an all time list,

Is James Anderson an ATG test bowler?

Anderson was a great bowler and is an all time great, but would not be in the top 10 all time list of fast bowlers, 15th to 20th more likely.

The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

The 1970s test team that beat the Aussies 4-0 was a very strong team. packed with world class players, the possible team of the 80s too had many class players, anyone who knows cricket should and can see that, their performances in WSC and Rebel tours prove that,

The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

Rawson would have to be in one of the teams imo.

Who is the 2nd greatest Kiwi Bowler?

Chris Cairns would be above Chatfield imo, anyone who could take a 5 wicket haul against the Aussies at that time has to be rated, no way should he not be on that list,

    SA Domestic History

Agreed, they would have been extremely difficult to beat at home, at their peak probably ranked 2nd or 3rd in the rankings imo . so many world class players. batsmen , fast bowlers and all rounders,

Is Jonty Rhodes the best fielder International Cricket has seen ?

Can not believe no one has mentioned Derek Randall, he was like a panther ready to pounce,

Who is the 2nd greatest Kiwi Bowler?

statistics wise it would have to be Clarrie Grimmett if he is to be classed as a Kiwi,,, Bond is probably 2nd Best but such a short career, Boult, Cairns and Cowie would be the next in line, you have to bear in mind who they bowled against too,

Does Barry Richards deserve an exemption to be ranked among the greats of the game?

A circus it most certainly was not, but hard fought international cricket matches it most certainly was.

Does Barry Richards deserve an exemption to be ranked among the greats of the game?

90% of the worlds top players where there in WSC ask the players if it was proper cricket, they will tell you they where, and some of the toughest games they ever played in.

The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

I have John F Reid in my team, i did say Sutcliffe is a possible but never saw him play, Richardson is an Opener in my book , i prefer John Wright to him, Mitchell and Conway given time may break in to the team, but not yet, Donnelly and Dempster, doubtful, its a fun discussion but i...

The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

Its about opinions, i think Fleming was a bit better than Taylor, agreed he didnt convert enough of hid 50s in to centuries. however imo he had the edge over Ross, not sure i can name 5 better batsmen than Fleming though, Bert Sutcliffe is a possibility but i never saw him play, 1966 is my...
