Review the umpire's performance and if he has made a massive howler then he should spend a couple of weeks back in domestic cricket or something similar. I'm saying what afridi did is sinister because it was a deliberate attempt to affect the playing surface. Umpire = wrong, afridi = insane :)- supereddi08

But a mistake, an honest mistake, is not a violation. It's an error and these happen from time to time although they shouldn't. Lara's dismissals in three of his four innings in Australia have been errors not violations. Afridi's was a violation because it was a deliberate act outside the rules...- supereddi08

Why a violation? Harmison shied, hit the stumps and appealed... now if Inzi was evading and therefore not attempting a run the decision should have been not out, it was the umpire's call, you can't say appealing because you hit the stumps and believe a guy is out is a clear violation, until...- supereddi08

Afridi dance As the players were all looking at what had exploded on the boundary he got into the middle of the pitch just about a good length and did a full pirouette (360) with his spikes to create nice little patch of rough for him and Danish...
