    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Prasidh must bowl some real corkers in the nets to dupe Gill and co. into selecting him.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

It was bad wasn't it? Gotta love how Gill kept reinforcing his lack of control by pushing men back on the ropes. No plan that.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Guy simply has no semblance of a plan running up to bowl.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Prasidh Krishna lol. What an embarrassment.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Yeah it's a pet peeve of mine too. I usually don't make a big deal of it because I'm regularly accused of looking like a slacker myself lol but I'm not playing top-level cricket either. Prasidh reminds me of Munaf Patel in this respect; makes for one aggravating viewing experience.

Decent over to Root after the loosener but it seems like real hard work for him to maintain his lines. Let's see if he goes well tomorrow.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Too long a spell by at least an over if not two.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

I have more faith in our slips holding on to a screamer than Pant "diving" to make any kind of catch or clean save.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Quite possibly, hence the imperative to pile on as many runs as you can on these wickets. At least you're likely to winkle out a few through sheer tiredness.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

I wish there were a few nasty 150+ bowlers going around to strike the fear of God into these new-age batsmen. ****ers have grown up with impunity.

How does Pant let that go through? Terrible.

They're trying, just getting out in the process. Law of averages, etc.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Akash skids off a good length with the new ball. Always keeps the shoulder of the bat and the top of the stumps in action.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Akash's face resembles a desi Roger Federer. Same crinkly expression.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

    **** me sideways. Akashdeep!

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

That Ganesha pendant around Akash's neck looks chunky. Might whack him in the eye. **** yeah. Akash is skiddy alright and what a ****ing pouch from MY CAPTAIN

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Should've opened with Sundar/Jadeja at the other end. Fine over from Siraj tho. More please.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

If nothing else, making Gill captain will probably do wonders for his batting. Looks more mentally together now with the extra responsibility.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Did you quote the wrong guy lol? Anyway, yeah was being gracious calling the others that. Gill has that effortless willowy quality that only VVS and Azhar on the legside had. Rohit and KL are pleasing on the eye too but they have a bit of power to their strokeplay at times.
